Therapy That Makes Room for Your Whole Self
My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you can feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported in exploring whatever brings you to therapy.
I believe you are the expert on your own life, and that meaningful change happens through a trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach is grounded in person-centered and humanistic values, with an emphasis on autonomy, consent, and meeting you where you are. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we can work together to find what feels most helpful and meaningful to you.
I draw from several approaches, including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and art therapy. I am EMDR-trained and incorporate trauma-informed approaches throughout my work.
What Therapy Can Look Like
Depending on your needs and preferences, we might work through difficult experiences, build skills for relating differently to thoughts and emotions, explore different parts of yourself, or use creativity to access experiences that can be difficult to put into words.
Therapy doesn’t always have to be entirely about talking.
As an artist and art therapist, creativity is an important part of how I connect with people. I’m happy to incorporate art when it feels useful—or simply make room for curiosity, authenticity, and humor in our work together.
Who I Work With
I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, relationships, life transitions, and questions about who they are and who they want to become.
I am also passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients and creating an affirming space where clients can show up as their full selves.
A Place Where You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out
My hope is that therapy can be a place where you don’t have to have everything figured out, and where we can work together toward a life that feels more authentically your own.
